This is where it starts getting bizarre.

The sounds here represent the drum and bass track from Newborn during the verses. The clip starts with a very low-pitched bass sound which is one of the two bass lines in Newborn (read about the other one here). The bass was recorded by opening a bottle of wine. Smiley Of course, the sample had to be transposed quite a bit in order to bring it to an appropriate pitch. If you are using headphones, you are most likely not going to be able to hear the full bass sound, since the frequencies in question here are really low, requiring a subwoofer.

The bass sounds are then joined by the kick drum, which is a sample of keys falling on a kitchen counter.

wheh great sound and great ideas are combined, the result is something very easy to be described with just one word - GHOSTWHEEL
